What Platinum Did:We worked with the managing director to: 1. Conduct a feasibility assessment – looking at the potential market, existing competition and barriers to entry. 2. Develop a business plan that: a. Tackled the activity required to create a differentiated presence in the market b. Detailed operational resources that would be required to deliver on increased orders c. Illustrated potential financial options through projected cash-flow, P&L and balance sheet 3. Implement the sales and marketing plan by: a. Creating the company’s collateral – e.g. website, brochure, and sales presentations b. Recruiting a sales executive c. Providing on-going tele-marketing to generate qualified leads 4. Create operational infrastructure – including: a. Development of administrative processes and procedures b. Provision of bookkeeping and accounting support 5. Agree funding strategy which combined own resources with grants and loans to create an affordable package 6. Introduce grant providers and lenders to realise the funding strategy The Results:This is an on-going project. The company is now up and running and sales pipeline is very promising.
