Platinum win contract for Access to Finance 2006/07

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected to deliver the 2006/07 Access to Finance programme. The Access to Finance programme that ran from 2003 to 2005 helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and businesses raise finance in excess of £23,000,000.

This year the programme will be available to all businesses across London (subject to some eligibility criteria) and you can use it to get assistance with:

ü      Preparation or refinement of your business plan           ü      Operational and capacity planning ü      New market entry planning ü      New product development planning ü      Preparation of financial plans and projections ü      Advice on types and sources of finance available       to you ü      Coaching on how to present a professional case       to finance providers ü      A review of your business model if necessary ü      Skills assessment  and management development       where necessary

Up to 80% subsidy

The Access to Finance programme subsidises the cost of using expert advisers to become finance ready – ensuring you get the best rates and the right type of funding for your project or business.

If you are a new start business (established for 18 months or less) the programme will provide an 80% subsidy.

If your business has been established for more than 18 months, the programme will provide a 65% subsidy.

Introductions to finance providers

As part of the previous programme we provided introductions to:

ü      Small firms loan guarantee lenders

ü      Commercial mortgage providers

ü      Invoice finance providers

ü      Asset finance providers

ü      Grants providers

ü      Investors / business angels

ü      Venture Capital firms
