The Business Development Workshops Programme – Why you must be there

London MAS and Platinum know that as a busy manager/owner it is very difficult to take time out to work ‘on’ the business as opposed to working ‘in’ it.

 The danger of putting off planning your growth is that as markets and competitors constantly change, your business could be left behind!

The Business Development Workshop Programme looks at all the elements required to plan sustainable growth –and ensures you have the tools to implement your plans:

Business Development and Strategic Planning	We will explore various alternatives to business development and growth including: market penetration, product diversification, market diversification and exporting.
Financial Management for Growth	We will identify the financial processes and disciplines that must be in place to fund growth and explore relevant sources of growth funding.
People Planning and Management	We will explore how growth impacts on people development and how to meet development requirements. We will also look at how to instil important man-management fundamentals (ensuring you avoid tribunals and recruit effectively)
Implementing Growth Plans	Looking at how to implement the growth and change strategies developed in previous workshops – How to project manage in resource challenged businesses and how to develop SMART Action Plans

What to expect

The workshops are very much case study led, and you are welcome to provide questions beforehand.   All participants should leave each workshop with an action plan specifically tailored to their business.

Tea/coffee is available from 8.30am. Sessions run from 9am – 12pm and are followed by lunch.  There will be plenty of opportunities to network with other businesses and Specialists from London MAS and Platinum.
